Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about the generator, the games we cover, and the odds.
The generator
What is a lottery number generator?
A lottery number generator produces a set of numbers valid for a specific lottery game — the right quantity, within the right range, including any bonus ball. It replaces picking by hand. It does not predict a draw.
How does the colour system work?
Each lottery's number range is divided into colour bands. You choose a pattern of colours rather than individual numbers, and the generator turns that pattern into a valid set of numbers for the game. It is a way of choosing that is faster and more varied than picking digits one at a time.
Does this improve my chances of winning?
No. Lottery draws are random, and every combination has the same chance every time. No generator, pattern or system changes that, and any site claiming otherwise is misleading you.
Then why use a generator at all?
Two practical reasons. It is quicker than choosing by hand, and it avoids the habits that cluster human picks — birthdays under 31, straight lines on the ticket, the same set every week. That does not raise your chance of winning, but it can reduce the chance of splitting a jackpot with the many people who chose the obvious numbers.
Are the numbers really random?
Selections are generated in your browser from the colour pattern you choose and the rules of the game you selected. Two people making the same choices can produce different sets.
Can I use the same numbers every week?
Yes. Saved plays are kept in your account so you can reuse a set. Your chance of winning is identical whether you repeat numbers or change them each draw.
Games and coverage
Which lotteries are supported?
The catalogue covers 859 lotteries across 96 countries, including Powerball, Mega Millions, EuroMillions, UK Lotto, Lotto Max, Mega-Sena and a large number of state, provincial and national games that smaller tools leave out.
How do I find my lottery?
Use the search bar on the homepage. You can type a game name, a country or a state — searching "New York", "Powerball" or "Ireland" filters the full catalogue as you type. You can also narrow by country and region with the two filters.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Searching the catalogue, viewing draw times and seeing the latest winning numbers are all free and require no account. An account is needed to open a generator and to save plays.
Why does my lottery show no draw time?
Because we do not have a verified schedule for it. We deliberately show nothing rather than an estimate — a wrong draw time is worse than none. Coverage grows as we verify more games.
Why does my lottery show no winning numbers?
Either the draw has not been published yet, or we do not yet have a results source for that game. Numbers usually appear within a few hours of a draw. Always confirm results with the official operator.
Are your results official?
No. Results are collected from public sources and may be delayed or incomplete. Treat them as a convenience, and confirm any win with the lottery operator or retailer.
Accounts, pricing and privacy
What does a free account include?
A free account includes daily tokens that accumulate without expiry, and the Powerball / Mega Millions generator through its first four stages. Browsing and searching remain free without any account at all.
What does premium add?
Premium unlocks all five generators and their later stages. You can subscribe monthly for unlimited access, or spend a single token on a 24-hour pass. Full detail is on the pricing page.
Do tokens expire?
No. Free tokens accumulate without a cap, and premium tokens do not expire. Tokens hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes, at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
Do you sell lottery tickets?
No. Lottery Colors is a number generator. You buy tickets from a licensed operator or retailer, never from us.
Do you store my card details?
No. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and full card details never reach our servers.
Playing responsibly
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 or older, or the legal age for lottery play where you live if that is higher.
Can a lottery be predicted or beaten?
No. Each draw is independent and random. Past results carry no information about future draws, so "hot", "cold" and "overdue" numbers have no predictive value. Systems sold on that basis do not work.
